Manila-based Philippine Airlines has announced it would stop its Manila-Abu Dhabi services from July 8th. The airline stated the decision is due to 'route assessments'. The Philippine Airlines is operating three flights weekly between the two cities and will terminate the flights indefinitely. Refunds will be offered to any passengers who have booked flights after July 8 or will be eligible to fly out via Dubai.
"Philippine Airlines will be temporarily suspending flights to and from Abu Dhabi (PR 656/657 Tuesdays/Thursdays/Saturdays) effective July 8th this year until further notice. The temporary cancellation of the service is being carried out as PAL undertakes route assessment initiatives."
