How to avoid fake documents for visit visa applicants in Dubai

The Philippine Consulate-General in Dubai has issued an advisory to all Filipinos living in Dubai against buying fake documents illegally issued by travel agencies.

All-in-one tourist or visit visa packages are popular that includes:
1. Visit visa
2. Airfare ticket
3. Affidavit of Support and Guarantee (AOS)

Some travel agencies are forging the signatures of the three consuls tasked with signing the document according to Consul Ryan Pondoc.

There is the tendency that your sponsored relative may get offloaded if Philippine immigration officials found out that the AOS is fake.

Tips:
Proceed to Consulate in Dubai (PCG) and get the AOS personally. Cost: Dhs 100 (normal process), Dhs 140 (expedite or urgent cases)

Terms:
AOS- an attested letter issued to holders of visit visas serving as proof that they have the support of their family during their stay in the UAE.
